This full costume was custom-made by the production for use by Arnold Schwarzenegger as "The Terminator". The particular pieces of this costume took about two years to locate. It consists of a leather jacket, black shirt with bullet holes, HD boots, belt, custom pants, and sunglasses. Once they were all together, the set costumer from T2 documented the pieces and authenticated that they were all screen used. This costume was used towards the beginning of the movie - from the scene in the hallway of the Galleria forward. Later in the movie, Arnold changes his shirt at the gas station from a black one to grey. Then as the movie progresses, there were various stages of wear on the costumes. This leather jacket screen matches exactly during the motorcycle scenes in the aquaduct when the T-800 saves John Connor from the T-1000 chasing him in a large truck. Every scratch, mark, and bullet hole is exactly as seen throughout that scene.
During 2014, this costume was on loan to the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, WI. It can be seen with the original Fat Boy motorocycle that Arnold rode in the same scene, as well as the hero firing shotgun and Sarah Connor's "No Fate" knife.
