In the 23rd century, Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis), an ex-special forces agent who now practices as a down-and-out cabbie, finds himself caught in a struggle to defy a prophesied Evil from destroying the Earth when a mysterious woman (Milla Jovovich) falls into the back seat of his cab. Pursued by both the government and a powerful magnate enlisted by the forces of Evil (Gary Oldman), the woman is the key to Earth's salvation, known only as the Fifth Element.
This is a complete head-to-toe police uniform from the Luc Besson Sci-Fi cult film "The Fifth Element". Assembled on a mannequin it stands about 6 feet tall, 26" wide, 20" deep, and weighs less than 50 pounds. It is made of a canvas type textile material, fiberglass, plastic, metal & rubber. The mannequin is included, however the stand shown is not included.
This particular helmet has a rare opening visor that is functional (mechanically opens via a wire) and the round white front panel lights up (via a battery pack embedded in back of the costume), as does the red light on the shoulder. It also comes complete with all the accessories seen in the film, such as the massive shoulder gun, baton and police shield. The numbers on the helmet and shield match up to each other, and also represent the police squad in the space port. This particular gun (blue) was used for the police costume when Zorg was demonstrating his ZF-1 weapon, and also used by the ships crew towards the end of the movie (see the last screen capture).
While a few items from this amazing sci-fi film pop up from time to time, we have never seen a police uniform so complete and in such fantastic condition. An amazing item from an immensely popular cult movie.
